Public Meetings

The Parish Council meetings are held in Church Cottage on Church Lane. The meetings are open to the public and at every Full Council meeting (normally the first Wednesday of every month) there is an agenda item for a public forum which is held prior to the start of the meeting.

The Annual Parish Meeting is an opportunity for all residents of Skirlaugh to discuss matters relating to the parish and reports from local groups are received. The date of the meeting is advertised at least one week before the meeting is held. If a resident wishes to ask for a specific item to be placed on the agenda the clerk must be informed of this.
